Types of procedures required: Medical Unit Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes; Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS ACLS Floating to other units/departments: May float to Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Medical - 77 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Medical 1:6 for days and eves 1:8 for nights Dress Code: Professional nursing attire Department specific training and orientation program: Orientation time provided for each unit
