About the Role:
As a People Partner for South India you will support employees and leaders across Maersks Contract Logistics and TbM operations. Youll work closely with teams on the ground ensuring a great employee experience smooth HR processes and a high level of compliance and engagement.
This is a hands-on people-facing roleperfect for someone who enjoys solving problems coaching leaders and making HR processes work better.
What Youll Be Doing:
In this role you will:
Partner with Leaders
Be the go-to HR contact for leaders and employees across the South cluster
Guide teams through HR policies employee relations performance and development conversations
Lead HR Processes
Run key HR cycles: performance reviews compensation succession planning talent development
Support the rollout of new HR systems and processes (Workday & ServiceNow)
Support Employees
Handle day-to-day HR queries
Resolve employee relations matters
Ensure compliance with employment laws and site-level statutory requirements
Drive Talent & Workforce Planning
Work with TPL vendors to ensure workforce availability
Support hiring onboarding training and engagement activities
Encourage internal mobility and growth opportunities for employees
Collaborate Across HR
Partner with HRBPs People Advisory Centres of Excellence and Global Mobility teams
Work with regional People Partnering Operations (PPO) to solve complex cases
What Were Looking For:
To succeed in this role you should bring:
1012 years of HR generalist experience
Strong understanding of:
Employee relations
Labour laws
Performance & talent processes
Vendor management
Experience working with large or multinational organizations
Ability to coach leaders handle change and work independently
A positive energetic lets find a solution mindset
Strong communication skills in English and local language
Experience in unionized environments is a bonus.
