Workshop Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on expertise in plastic fabrication who enjoys leading others maintaining high standards and contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

What youll be doing:

• Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Cutting shaping fabricating and welding plastic materials such as Polypropylene (PP) PVC and Polycarbonate using a range of tools and machinery.
• Supervising and contributing to the assembly of plastic components ensuring alignment with design requirements.
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Maintaining a clean organised and safe workshop in line with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with colleagues and management to improve processes and overall efficiency.
• Providing training guidance and support to fabrication team members.
• Carrying out weekly health and safety checks within the workshop.

About you:

• Experience as a Plastic Fabricator Plastic Welding Technician or in another relevant fabrication role.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is beneficial but not essential we welcome applicants looking to step up.
• Strong knowledge of plastic fabrication techniques including cutting routing bending and welding.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
