This full-time on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional healthcare services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As an Ob/Gyn you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive womens health services including prenatal care gynecological exams and labor and delivery support. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals committed to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and specialized care for women including prenatal and postnatal care
- Conduct gynecological examinations and screenings
- Diagnose and treat a range of womens health issues
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Valid medical license to practice in New York State
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Flexible schedule with call
Annual Volume: 6K deliveries
Setting: L&D floor at a regional perinatal center
48-bed Level III NICU
50% clinical 50% administrative
Team Structure: Midwives PAs MFM residents
MFM background preferred will accept generalist or laborist background
8-10 years post-residency/fellowship experience required
Must have experience in patient safety measures
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $550K based on experience
Pooled bonus and quality bonus
