As a Locum Cardiology physician you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes and fostering a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and consultations
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor progress
- Educate patients and families on heart health and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology or eligibility for certification
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
- Strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical demands and schedules
- Shifts: Monday-Thursday (8a-5p) Friday (8a-12p)
Schedule: 4-5 days per week
Setting: 100% outpatient
Patient Census: 20 per day
Full-scope general cardiology
No procedures
Support Staff: RN MA/clinic supervisor
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
