Were helping a very well-known games studio in Malmö find their next Digital Media Specialist. This is a great role for someone who wants to work where creativity content digital channels and gaming culture meet. Youll help shape how the studio shows up across its digital platforms through content storytelling and communication that builds engagement and brings the studio closer to its community. The role is a mix of creative operational and data-driven work. Youll work across social media website and other digital channels creating and coordinating content in both still and moving formats. A big part of the role is about coming up with strong ideas pitching them and turning them into great output together with internal teams.

We believe this role will suit someone who is creative at heart full of ideas and excited by digital storytelling. The analytical side matters too but this team is especially looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking energy and initiative. With the right support theres room to grow in all parts of the role but the creative foundation really needs to be there.

Youll also need a real passion for gaming not just an interest. To do well in this role you should be curious about the studios games world and community and genuinely want to understand what makes them connect with players.

Since youll be working in an international environment you should feel comfortable collaborating in English across teams and disciplines.


What youll do

  • Support the studios communication across digital media platforms reporting to the Studio Brand Manager
  • Manage and create content for websites social media and other digital channels
  • Develop and coordinate content in both still and moving formats
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute communication marketing and promotional activities
  • Create graphical and video content for digital platforms
  • Work closely with the Corporate Communications team to strengthen the studios overall communication
  • Partner with the in-house Creative Content Team on campaigns and content initiatives
  • Support studio events and other communication activities that contribute to brand and studio objectives

Responsibilities

  • Designing digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Create visual content such as graphics photo and video for our studio channels.
  • Coordinating the creation of advanced digital content for the studio channels (e.g. website and social media).
  • Managing end-to-end digital projects for the studio.
  • Establishing our web presence to boost brand awareness.
  • Maintaining a strong online studio voice through social media making sure that the studio digital presence is in line with the studio Tone of Voice.
  • Creating day-to-day content for social media channels (i.e Instagram).
  • Liaising with Operations Game Developments teams and Product Manager teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Suggesting and implementing communication methods to increase reach to the target audience.
  • Monitoring ROI and KPIs and reporting this to management on a regular basis

Youre not afraid of taking ownership and understand the value of a good brand presence and awareness. You are a passionate gamer and have an interest in the video game industry.

  • Bachelors degree in digital media marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in digital marketing and/or communications.
  • Solid knowledge of design and editing programs such as InDesign Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
  • Knowledge of web design and content management systems.
  • Good experience with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with paid social media platforms including Facebook Instagram and YouTube.
  • Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media placements with the available budget.

This role starts as soon as possible and is initially a full-time temporary position for four months with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent full-time role.

The studio is based in Malmö and youll need to be located there as well. The setup is hybrid with three fixed days per week in the office and two days remote. If this sounds like your kind of role wed love to hear from you!
