Job Summary

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced End-to-End Data Migration Lead to drive data migration for a complex multi-platform retail transformation program. This role requires ownership across a diverse ecosystem of merchandising supply chain finance warehouse management order management master data wholesale retail and downstream retail systems including logistics partners point-of-sale platforms and integration layers.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can mobilize from Day 0 bringing deep expertise in retail data domains large-scale migration delivery and cross-platform data orchestration. They will lead the full lifecycle of data migrationfrom strategy through executionworking closely with business functional and technical teams to ensure high-quality business-ready data across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead the enterprise-wide data migration strategy across SAP Blue Yonder (BY) Manhattan Stibo MDM and downstream systems.

  • Own scope planning execution and governance of all data migration activities across the program.
  • Establish migration roadmap milestones KPIs and cutover strategy aligned with overall transformation timelines.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across upstream core and downstream systems.
  • Drive data migration across a complex retail landscape including SAP Retail (Fashion Management and CAR) Blue Yonder Manhattan (MAO/WMS) MDM and downstream systems (3PL POS eCommerce integration layers such as Comestri).
  • Ensure alignment of data models hierarchies and business rules across all systems.
  • Manage dependencies and sequencing between systems during migration and cutover.
  • Lead migration of key retail data domains such as product/article/SKU hierarchies site/store/DC structures pricing and promotions inventory and supply chain data and customer/vendor master data.
  • Apply deep understanding of retail processes and data semantics to ensure business usability.
  • Ensure data consistency across planning execution and transactional systems.
  • Oversee extraction transformation and loading (ETL/ELT) processes across multiple platforms.
  • Define and implement data mapping cleansing enrichment and harmonization processes.
  • Drive data quality frameworks reconciliation and validation cycles.
  • Lead mock migrations dress rehearsals and cutover execution.
  • Act as the central point of accountability for data across business IT and implementation partners.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (merchandising supply chain finance) functional leads and integration teams.
  • Communicate status risks and mitigation plans to program leadership.
  • Define and execute data validation and reconciliation strategies across systems.
  • Support SIT UAT and business validation cycles.
  • Ensure data readiness for go-live with clear signoffs and audit trails.
  • Establish data governance standards and controls across the program.
  • Implement best practices for data lineage traceability and auditability.
  • Identify and resolve data risks and issues proactively.

Qualifications & Skills:

15 years of data migration experience including 5 years leading large-scale programs.

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end data migration in complex retail transformations.
  • Strong background across multiple systems including SAP Retail / S/4HANA Blue Yonder Manhattan (MAO WMS) MDM platforms and downstream retail systems (POS 3PL eCommerce integrations).
  • Deep understanding of retail data models processes and interdependencies.
  • Experience working in complex distributedenvironments
  • Experience handling high-volume high-complexity retail datasets across multiple regions or brands.
  • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT tools and data migration frameworks.
  • Experience with BODS SAP Data Services Migration Cockpit or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL HANA Oracle Snowflake Databricks) and data architecture.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and distributed system data flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead from Day 0 with minimal ramp-up.
  • Strong program ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced high-pressure transformation environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale retail ERP transformations (SAP S/4HANA or equivalent).
  • Exposure to cloud-based data migration and modern data platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance MDM and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in multi-country or global retail environments.
