Job Summary

Summary
This position provides the actual product data used in making quality determinationby performing various chemical and physicaltesting onin all areas.This positionmaintainsaccuraterecords of the testingin a manner consistent with safetyqualityand production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
- Attend andparticipatein all training activities for the the acquired skills and knowledge are applied.
- Ensures sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the entire facility.
- Ensures self-compliance with Company policies Standard Operating Procedures and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Must be a team player and help to meet operational goals.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner and ensures that personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions whilerepresentingthe Company.
- Performs all such other duties as may bereasonably assignedbyManager.
- Performs the sampling duties as outlined in the Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Understandsand canperformgeneral lab processes and procedures.
- Ensuresthe recording of information and test results areaccuratelegibleand entered into theappropriate locationin a timely manner.
- Performsadditionaltasks as may be required by the Quality Assurance Manager/ Supervisor Shift Manager or Quality Assurance Team Leader.
- Ensures work area and equipment aremaintainedand cleaned regularly with proper chemical handling and/or procedures.

Relevant Experience
- Basic math skills.
- Use basis lab equipment.
- Good knowledge of computer systems.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments.
- Good communication skills.
- Needs to be organized efficient and have good time management skills.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Adheres to all standards policies and systems as appropriate.
