Job Summary
1st Shift NDT Technician X-Ray Operator (Level 1)
Location: Mentor Ohio
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM 6:00 PM)
Schedule Options: FridaySunday or SaturdayMonday

Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NDT Technician X-Ray Operator (Level 1) to join our this role youll play a critical part in ensuring product quality and safety by inspecting components using advanced X-ray technology. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in precision work we want to hear from you.
What Youll Do
Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
Operate X-ray and testing equipment to evaluate product quality
Perform system capability checks and follow established procedures
Accurately document work performed and maintain proper records
Handle materials including hazardous waste in compliance with safety standards
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Support inventory movement and manage X-ray film storage
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Casting experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and flexibility with work hours
Strong sense of urgency and accountability
Positive attitude and effective communication skills
What It Takes to Succeed
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced high-demand environment
Willingness to learn and study to obtain Level 1 certification
Ability to pass a visual acuity exam
Comfortable working under pressure with tight timelines
Commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards
