Job Summary
Summary:
Supports business units with supply base needs receives limited supervision
Assists with managing sourcing strategy sourcing operations and supplier relations to reduce costs and risks while improving value and supplier performance
Assists with developing category and business unit and/or market strategies that enable spend management improve supplier performance and mitigates risk
Assists sourcing operations by providing updates on market conditions industry trends product knowledge and emerging supply options
Performs the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend defining requirements developing strategy authoring RFxs and negotiating contracts.
