Job Summary
Shangri-La The Fort Manila
Shangri-La The Fort Manila located within Fort Bonifacio the former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys comprising 576 hotel guestrooms 97 hotel residences and 98 exclusive Horizon Homes the building is destined to become a Manila landmark. The new hotel will complement the companys five existing properties in the Philippines.
The mixed-use business residential and retail tower will be located along 5thAvenue and 30th Street within the new fast-developing Taguig business district. A 30-minute drive from the international airport the hotel will also be close to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club and 10 minutes from Makati district the capitals financial cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.
Job Summary:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the General Manager establish and implement the Shangri-La The Fort Engineering Services in accordance with the Corporate Standards (Engineering Services Manual Fire Life Safety Manual etc) Shangri-La at the FortManila Policies and Procedures and Local Authority requirements.
Qualifications:
- Preferably at least 10 years experience in a similar operation in a deluxe hotel; at least 5 years experience in the same capacity.
- Preferably a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) in the Philippines.
- Preferably with excellent organizational skills.
- Preferably have experience in MEP system staff management budget preparation and control.
- Preferably with background in Quality Improvement in international hotel operations.
- Motivator self-starter and a team-builder.
- Displays initiative and a commitment to professional values.
