Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Presales Engineer to partner with sales and help customers design high-performance data solutions. Youll be the technical voice in client conversations translating business needs into architectures built on DDN WekaIO and VAST Data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with prospects and map requirements to DDN Weka and VAST Data solutions
Design solution architectures (AI/ML HPC media analytics workloads) and validate sizing/performance
Deliver product demos proof-of-concepts and technical workshops
Prepare bills of materials pricing and configuration guides
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical sections and architecture diagrams
Stay current on storage file systems and AI data pipeline trends; provide feedback to product teams
Collaborate with sales implementation and support to ensure smooth handover

Required Qualifications

5 years in presales solutions engineering or storage architecture
Hands-on experience with DDN (EXAScaler AI400X2) WekaIO (WekaFS) and VAST Data
Strong understanding of high-performance storage NVMe parallel file systems networking (InfiniBand/Ethernet)
Experience with AI/ML HPC or data-intensive workloads
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications from DDN Weka or VAST Data
Familiarity with cloud storage (AWS FSx Azure NetApp Files) and container ecosystems (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of data lifecycle tiering and data management best practices
