About the Role
We are looking for a sharp fair-minded and detail-oriented Dutch-Speaking Content Moderator to join a global team supporting one of the worlds leading e-commerce platforms in Lisbon Portugal. In this role you will play a critical part in maintaining a safe trustworthy and high-quality online marketplace by reviewing and moderating user-generated content submitted by Dutch-speaking users.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content on the e-commerce platform including product listings reviews images and seller profiles in accordance with platform guidelines and policies
- Identify and action content that violates community standards such as fraudulent listings inappropriate material or policy breaches
- Make accurate consistent and well-reasoned moderation decisions within defined response time targets
- Escalate complex sensitive or ambiguous cases to senior moderators or specialist teams as appropriate
- Provide feedback and flag recurring content trends or policy gaps to the relevant teams
- Maintain thorough records of moderation actions and decisions
- Stay up to date with platform policies guidelines and any updates to moderation procedures
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (C1/C2 level) spoken and written
- Proficient level of English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make consistent objective decisions
- Resilience and ability to handle exposure to potentially sensitive or disturbing content professionally
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Previous experience in content moderation trust & safety or a related field is an advantage but not required
