We are hiring a SOC Operations Analyst / Watch-Floor Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise cyber environment. This is a mission-critical role where youll be on the front lines of defending systems investigating threats and supporting real-time incident response.
If you have a Top Secret clearance hands-on SOC experience and want to work on impactful national security programsthis is a strong next step.
What Youll Do:
- Monitor networks and systems for security threats and anomalies
- Investigate security incidents and breaches
- Perform real-time cyber defense and incident response support
- Analyze intrusion data and create forensically sound evidence
- Conduct:
- Timeline analysis
- File signature analysis
- Statistical and dynamic analysis
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements
- Work with tools like Splunk Enterprise Security to detect and respond to threats
- Support Incident Response Teams (IRTs) in high-priority scenarios
What You Bring:
Required:
- Active Top Secret Clearance (must be willing to sit for CI Poly)
- Bachelors degree (BS/BA)
- 5 years of cybersecurity / SOC experience
- Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
Preferred (Strong Plus):
- Microsoft Sentinel
- GIAC Certifications (GCIH GCFA GCIA GMON GNFA)
- Experience with forensic analysis and incident response
Shift Details
- Wednesday Saturday
- 9:00 PM 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Ideal for candidates who prefer longer shifts with more days off.
