Job Summary
Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including livestock feed production agronomy services and retail stores throughout the intermountain west. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Equipment & Fleet Maintenance Technician for the North Region Feed Division feed manufacturing plant located at Trenton Utah
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Mechanic to perform basic maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who can handle routine service tasks and help keep equipment in safe working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks
- Inspect and service brakes lights and other basic mechanical components
- Identify minor mechanical issues and perform basic repairs
- Maintain accurate service records for work completed
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge (automotive or equipment maintenance preferred)
- Ability to use standard hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and good work ethic
- Prior experience working on trucks or heavy equipment(preferred)
- Valid Commercial drivers license
Work Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday Saturdays as needed
