Job Summary

The school is looking for an inspiring Head of DT who can provide strong leadership while delivering engaging and practical lessons. The successful Head of DT will play a key role in curriculum development and departmental strategy.
Responsibilities of the Head of DT include:
Leading and developing the DT department across KS3KS5
Teaching DT with potential specialisms in Product Design Resistant Materials or Engineering
Driving curriculum innovation and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Managing departmental resources including workshops and equipment
Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the department

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
