Job Summary
A friendly and supportive Good primary school Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team from September. This is a full-time permanent position ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting pupils as they begin their primary school journey.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the Reception class supporting pupils development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity independence and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Reception lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
Supporting pupils early development in literacy numeracy and communication
Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning
Observing assessing and recording pupil progress
Supporting pupils social emotional and behavioural development
Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
Building strong relationships with parents and carers
Contributing to school events and wider Early Years activities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within Early Years or Reception settings
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Be patient creative and enthusiastic
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
Be organised and committed to maintaining high standards
Work effectively as part of a supportive team
