Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Part-Time / Outsourced to support their CASP license application and oversee the development of a robust and compliant technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who can align technical strategy with regulatory expectations.
About the Company
We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative company operating in the financial services and crypto-asset sector. The organization is focused on establishing its CASP entity in Cyprus with a strong emphasis on security compliance and technological excellence. They offer a dynamic and forward-thinking environment where experienced professionals can play a key role in shaping the companys future. The successful candidate will be based in Limassol Cyprus.
Responsibilities
As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you will lead the companys technology strategy and infrastructure:
Design implement and oversee the companys technical architecture
Ensure IT security data protection and system resilience in line with regulatory expectations
Support the CASP license application by addressing CySECs technical and IT requirements
Manage relationships with technology vendors and external service providers
Establish and maintain technology governance frameworks and internal controls
Oversee system performance scalability and reliability
Identify and mitigate technology-related risks including cybersecurity threats
Collaborate closely with Compliance and AML functions to ensure regulatory alignment
Stay up to date with emerging technologies blockchain developments and regulatory expectations
Requirements
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
Proven experience in a CTO or senior technology leadership role
Strong background in crypto-asset platforms blockchain technology and cybersecurity
Experience working with regulated fintech or crypto companies
Solid understanding of IT governance system architecture and risk management
Familiarity with CySECs expectations regarding technology and operational resilience
Excellent leadership problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a part-time / outsourced capacity
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Cyprus residency is required
