The role of a Behavioral Health Quality and Compliance Director performs a variety of professional management activities including the planning development and implementation of quality improvement plans cultural competency plans and program implementation and management plans. This position is responsible for quality review and compliance of Enterprise Behavioral Health programs with County policies State performance contracts and Federal rules and regulations. Key duties include actions to Own Produce Drive and Review.
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in business Public Administration Health Services or a related field. (Required)
7 years of progressive experience in healthcare business operations in a healthcare environment. (Required)
3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role. (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws regulations and internal policies. This includes monitoring business operations and reporting any infractions. Professional Management: Overseeing and guiding utilization review medication monitoring confidentiality of records and peer review in accordance with federal state and local government requirements.
Policy Development: Create modify implement and evaluate clear and comprehensive company policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations i.e. federal state and local government requirements.
Collaboration: Work with department heads and management to assess policy needs and develop strategies to address organizational challenges.
Quality Assurance: Develop coordinate and manage quality management and regulatory compliance functions.
Training and Development: Assisting with Planning and implementing multi-faceted training for employees and contract providers and assuring clinical supervision requirements are met.
Performance Improvement Projects: Overseeing the preparation and implementation of our Performance Improvement Projects and growth initiatives.
Client Satisfaction Surveys: Participating in the implementation of state-mandated client satisfaction and provider satisfaction surveys.
Electronic Health Record: participating in the development and implementation of an Electronic Health Record and billing system
Data Reporting: participating in and delivering the data reporting for BH programs
Licensed behavioral health professional (LCSW LPC) Required
