Position: Software Engineer IV Data Collection and Engineering
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85$115/hour
Location: Redmond WA
Commitment: Full-time

Role Responsibilities

Develop software to integrate cutting-edge prototype devices into the data collection platform.
Enhance the efficiency reliability and accuracy of the data collection process.
Deploy test and evaluate upgrades to the data collection platform.
Build and maintain systems for monitoring system health and data validation.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to promote best practices and resolve issues.
Work onsite to debug problems and perform root cause analyses.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
6 years of professional programming experience.
Full stack software development experience.
Proficiency in Python Linux and shell scripting.
Experience with cross-platform distributed (RESTful) systems.
CI/CD experience with Github or GitLab.

Preferred

Experience with hardware multimedia sensors.
Knowledge of audio image and video formats.
Experience with relational and graph/NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks.
Experience with containerization and container orchestration.

Compensation & Legal

W-2 employment provided by Cincinnatus.
Compliance with California and Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinances.
