Position Summary :
The Associate Director Digital Omnichannel Lead will facilitate the development and execution of omnichannel engagement strategy across brands for Genetic & Metabolic Disorders (GMT) Business Unit. With expertise in omnichannel approach customer engagement strategy and digital marketing discipline s/he will collaborate with Brand Marketing tema to ensure unbranded and branded programs are optimized across channels with customer perspectives in mind. This is a strategic and operational role that requires digital omnichannel marketing expertise as well as its pragmatic application in the rare disease commercial environment. This position is also responsible for driving and managing 4 on-line based early diagnosis specialists as the dotted line. This role also requires close collaboration with Sales Thought Leader Liaison Medical Affairs and other internal functions.
Principal Responsibilities
- Customer-Centric Mindset Foster internal mindset to think from customers points of view when planning and executing external engagements.
- Omnichannel Strategy facilitate the development of omnichannel strategy across brands within the GMT portfolio. Drive planning and execution of tactics in close partnership with brand marketing teams.
- Channel Activation Develop and manage the framework for utilization of each channel in line with strategic objectives. Drive cross-brand coordination and realization of potential synergies.
- Content Planning Facilitate optimization of contents for omnichannel delivery working in close partnerships with Brand Marketing teams. Provide input and support on content development.
- Knowledge Management Work across brands to capture and share tactics learnings and best practices relating to omnichannel marketing.
- Embody Alexion/AstraZeneca values through daily behaviors and interactions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise for digital omnichannel strategy development and execution in Japan
- Deep and well-rounded commercial experience in biopharma industry (e.g. sales marketing market research new product planning)
- Executional and operational know-how for digital omnichannel marketing programs
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Scientific acumen and comfort with clinically oriented dialogue
- Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
- Passion for making a positive contribution to the rare disease community
- Prior people management experience is preferred
- Fluency in Japanese required; proficiency in English is preferred
Education
- Bachelors degree required
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA MS)
