What you will do:
Assess competitive insights to adjust messaging strategy and tactics
Develop persuasive benefit-driven messaging to different customers groups in alignment with their needs
Play a role in developing key strategy documents (strategic plan annual marketing plan product launch plans etc.) and leads the execution of the marketing communication elements of the marketing plan
Create marketing communication strategies to understand develop and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
Understand and apply the marketing framework and links customer acquisition and retention strategies to business objectives
Thorough understanding of the selling process and the role marketing plays to support sales team
Articulate desired communications outcomes consistent with marketing strategy to MarCom team
Leverage the different marketing channel strategies and makes strategic channel decisions based upon ROI
Write or edit publishing materials scripts or other communication media
Follow standard style guidelines such as Associated Press
Exhibit interest in new ideas and experimentation
Share ideas and is open to other opinions and views
Make oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work
Prepare and deliver formal presentations to small and friendly audiences
Experiment with new and innovative concepts and design principles to maximize impact
Assess alternative delivery mechanisms for internal communications
Assist in the development of internal communication materials
Establish short-range and long-range improvement goals for the product management team and under guidance develops action plans to achieve those goals
Support cross-divisional collaboration to align on key events/tradeshows. Help to develop and maintain fiscal calendar and budget.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelors degree required
4 years of work experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
MBA preferred
2 years medical device or marketing experience preferred
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word & PowerPoint)
