Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son is looking for an Assistant Shift the role you be managing the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan organize direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements
- Be responsible for production output product quality and on-time shipping
- Maintain a trusting relationship with work group manage and develop shift staff
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Address employees issues and work with Shop Manager to address
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor managing production employees
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Be knowledgeable of safety and quality
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building decision-making and people management skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Able to adapt to constant changing schedule
- Ability to always remain flexible
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
