Lone Star Bakery Inc. is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor for the PM Shift to monitor and resolve sanitation issues while meeting the Companys quality and safety objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifies daily safety inspection checklist is accurate.
- Effectively and compassionately supervises and develops employees on a continual basis.
- Develops evaluates and documents effective sanitation processes and procedures.
- Develops and supports sanitation training processes and procedures within department and throughout the Company.
- Demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ensures Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents and records remain current and accurate.
- Professionally represents department in staff meetings and to outside parties (e.g. auditors and USDA)
- Develops department schedule and ensures that there is proper coverage to meet daily production schedules.
- Manages all employee related issues and communicates appropriate concerns to the Director of Sanitation in a timely manner.
- Participates in GMP walk-through inspections and documents discrepancies.
- Ensures walk through inspection findings are resolved and/or completed.
- Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
- Develops evaluation of employee performance of tasks and provides feedback in a timely manner.
- Develops and participates in team goals and concepts.
- Demonstrates proficient computer skills.
Job Requirements Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years experience in Sanitation in a food manufacturing environment highly preferred
- Ability to team-lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking stooping and bending functions as required.
- Bilingual helpful
