Job Description
As a Fare Enforcement Officer - MetroLink in St. Clair County Working in conjunction with a Metropolitan Transit Task Force and our client security teams. MetroLink security professionals provide safety and security of riders on the transit light rail system station platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Customer service skills are a high priority. This is an outdoor posted position. Duties will include post security until relieved.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour - Weekly Pay
Shift: Overnight
Uniforms Provided - You provide black shoes black belt and undershirts
Position Type: Full Time MetroLink St. Clair County
- Military service that included law enforcement or security duties (e.g. military police elite military forces and combat arms) or support in a combat zone
- Eight years active service in any military branch
- Bachelors degree in law enforcement or criminal justice
- Associate degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- Graduation from a certified public safety academy in law enforcement adult corrections or firefighting

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify access permissions when required and communicate clearly with the public regarding site rules directions and/or reporting procedures.
- Complete routine reports activity logs and incident documentation and support site operations by observing for security-related issues and relaying information in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Have 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
