Job Summary

The Technology Work Study Student will perform assigned duties related to the Information Tech program at the KACC and assist the instructors as needed.

Assist classroom instructors with equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Assist KACC students with general I.T. troubleshooting.

Assist instructors with student tutoring.

Assist instructors with student mentoring.

Assist with tracking equipment use and checkout.

Assist with answering student questions related to Canvas and class materials.

Assist with distribution of classroom supplies.

Assist with execution of classroom labs.

Assist with equipment organization updates and general cleaning of classroom equipment.

Assist with general classroom tidying including wiping tables cleaning white boards restocking printer paper and student supplies and keeping the computing area neat.

Applicant must have a completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status to remain aid-eligible.

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit hour in eligible courses during employment or the coming term

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: None but general I.T. support experience is a plus.
