The Senior Management Accountant will take ownership of the financial execution across multiple group entities including:
- Leading and managing the month-end close process for several entities within the group
- Preparing and reviewing:
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journals accruals and provisions
- Managing all intercompany transactions endtoend including:
- Intercompany invoicing
- Shared cost allocations
- Intercompany loan accounts
- Ensuring that all reciprocal entries are aligned and reconciled across entities
- Compiling structured and accurate reconciliation packs for senior review
- Identifying and resolving accounting issues at source rather than escalating them
- Acting as the key finance continuity point in the absence of the Group Finance Manager
Experience:
- 510 years of handson finance experience
- Proven experience working within multientity environments
- Strong exposure to:
- Intercompany accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliation processes
- Monthend close responsibilities
- Operational executionfocused finance environments
- A solid understanding of core accounting processes controls and reconciliation discipline
- Preferred Industry Backgrounds
- Candidates with experience in the following industries typically demonstrate the required operational finance exposure:
- Services
- Logistics
- Manufacturing
- Infrastructure
- Other operationally intensive businesses
Note: Candidates coming purely from audit backgrounds without operational accounting experience are not preferred for this role.
