The Foster School of Business has an exciting opening for a Senior Associate Director of MBA Recruitment and Pipeline Strategy.

The Senior Associate Director of MBA Recruitment and Pipeline Strategy supports the Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions and Enrollment Strategy the Director of MBA Recruiting and the broader Admissions Team by providing strategic leadership analysis and guidance related to recruitment and candidate engagement for Fosters Full-time and Working Professional MBA programs. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions and Enrollment Strategy.

This role is responsible for shaping and informing recruitment and pipeline strategy across the prospect and applicant lifecycle with a particular focus on improving candidate engagement application momentum and admitted-student yield. Working in close partnership with the Director of MBA Recruiting the Senior Associate Director of MBA Recruitment and Pipeline Strategy helps translate enrollment goals into coordinated engagement approaches and ensures that CRM tools data and insights are used effectively to support high-quality personalized interactions with prospective students.

While the role includes selective execution and direct candidate interaction its primary emphasis is on strategic planning evaluation and continuous improvement serving as a thought partner to admissions leadership and a resource to recruiting staff as strategies are implemented.

What You Will Do:

Recruitment & Pipeline Strategy

  • Partner with the Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions and Enrollment Strategy and the Director of MBA recruiting to develop recommend and refine annual recruitment and pipeline strategies.
  • Provide strategic guidance on how prospects and applicants progress through the admissions funnel and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Evaluate proposed recruiting initiatives and offer data-informed recommendations regarding prioritization and expected impact.
  • Analyze pipeline performance and engagement trends to support leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with admissions leadership to design and refine engagement approaches that strengthen application momentum and yield.

Candidate Engagement & CRM Strategy

  • Serve as the strategic lead for how the admissions CRM is used to support recruitment and engagement goals.
  • Work alongside the Director of MBA Recruiting to design and improve CRM-supported engagement journeys.
  • Provide guidance on segmentation communication cadence and messaging strategy.
  • Monitor engagement and funnel health indicators and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement of CRM practices and data quality.

Recruitment Programs Technologies & Partnerships

  • Provide strategic oversight and input into the design and evaluation of recruitment programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Assess effectiveness of engagement programs and recommend adjustments based on outcomes.
  • Serve as strategic liaison to recruitment technology vendors and external partners such as GMAC.
  • Support evaluation implementation and ongoing use of recruitment technologies.

Selective Engagement & Program Representation

  • Represent Foster MBA programs in targeted high-impact engagement contexts.
  • Engage directly with select prospective students at key decision points.
  • Travel periodically for strategic recruitment initiatives and conferences.

Admissions Evaluation & Committee Participation

  • Participate in application review interviews and admissions committee deliberations.
  • Contribute pipeline insights to admissions decision-making.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in graduate admissions or recruitment strategy roles.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license/certification/registration.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience using CRM systems for engagement and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated collaborative leadership and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with strategic planning data analysis and enrollment modeling.

What You Can Expect:

This position requires periodic evening and weekend availability during peak recruiting and admissions cycles as well as occasional travel. Hybrid work arrangements are supported consistent with Foster School and University policies.

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$99624.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$103956.00 annual
