Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Shepherdsville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control practices and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Screen employees visitors contractors and/or deliveries at designated entry points using approved screening equipment and site protocols and report unusual activity or screening concerns to site leadership.
- Verify identification credentials and/or visitor authorization prior to entry help to deter unauthorized access and maintain accurate screening-related logs and records.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observe for security-related concerns and report maintenance issues access concerns and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
