Job Summary

Description

As an Investment Consulting analyst you will work with our Canadian Investment practice to provide support on a range of investment services to Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans and other institutional entities. Support will be required on a range of investment-related matters including performance measurement and evaluation investment manager monitoring strategic asset allocation investment management structures manager selection statements of investment policy and global research services.

Relocation is not offered for this position.

The Role

Produce quarterly investment performance reports by preparing written commentary and analysis for delivery to clients by required deadlines
Liaise with investment managers and other providers to collect information and conduct analysis and research as necessary to produce reports
Prepare written and analytic material that provide recommendations and actions for a variety of services and deliverables
Work together as part of dedicated client teams providing a variety of services to clients
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

This role is hybrid with regular attendance to the office (typically up to 3 days but may be more depending on business needs).

Qualifications

The Requirements

Undergraduate degree with 0 to 3 years of experience
Interest in or progress towards the CFA or FSA is desirable
Interest in and knowledge of investments and financial markets
Effective oral and written communication skills
Comfortable in a team environment and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects
Attention to detail and able to deliver accurate and high-quality work
Working knowledge of Excel PowerPoint and Word

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65000 CAD -$75000 CAD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
