Job Title: Distributors Market Head

Reports to: General Manager Colombia and Distributor Markets

Location: Bogotá Colombia

Position Summary:

The Distributor Markets Head - LATAM is responsible for driving partnership and bussiness growth with distributors in their designated geography in LatAm and also in Travel Areas. Job scope includes managing distributor performance to achieve annual sales targets developing trust and strong partnership with distributor to ensure sustainable long-term growth executing the channel strategy drive / influence capabilities building in distributors team and lead special demand plans on top of Distributors base plan.

Success will be measured in Sales P&L and Team Management - revenues; bookings and profitability; developing a strong structured and disciplined approach in managing a distributor; build together a solid growth plan in the country of responsibility; ensure improvement in Sell Out and Demand ramp up according to plan and Market Share evolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead P&L and Strategic Vision for the Distributor Markets LATAM (All Franchises).

  • Lead Cross functional team towards accelerated growth (Solid Line Dotted Line team and Leadership Team Members - peers).

  • Manage distributor/Customers business performance to achieve annual sales and budget targets. Forecast preparation.

  • Deploy ways of working as agreed with Global Distribution Structure.

  • Develop an understanding of current and future market trends that may impact sales; train distributors to ensure continual improvement in capability knowledge customer service performance and profitability.

  • Develop overall financial and legal acumen related to distribution business which includes understanding of the distributor contracts P&Ls and financial & organization structures.

  • Drive overall compliance/Ethics and good management practices in coordination with overall cross functional team (EBI Quality and PV agreements healthy inventory level etc).

  • Secure and Co-lead overall operational set up in cooperation with functional leaders that will drive high level of Customer Service and efficient way of operation.

Main requirements:

  • College degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or similar areas

  • Preferably MBA or Specialization Degree in Marketing / Commercial Management

  • Work Experience: 5 or more years on Commercial and/or Marketing leading business and teams.

  • Hands On Approach for Operation (Leading a Comercial and Marketing team Transversal Functional BPs by area).

Skills/experience required for this position:

  • Leadership and skills to navigate matrixial organization.

  • Teams management & Development.

  • High Capability of Leadership by Influence.

  • Knowledge of Market Evaluation Tools for Pharma / Consumer (PM PBS DDD IQVIA etc)

  • Solid Communication Skills in English and Spanish.

  • Strategic thinking.

  • Action Oriented Hands On Operational skills.

  • Commercial and negotiation skills

  • Resourseful

  • MS Office advanced level (word excel Power Point)

  • Capable to generate solid partnerships / relationships.

  • Knowledgeable of transversal processes (S&OP Regulatory Affairs process etc).
