Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and finished goods for resale and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and all shipping/receiving functions. The management of the S&R office staff is also a part of the responsibility.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the scheduling of daily shipments and inbound shipment
- Plans the scheduled day for warehouse activities.
- Maintains warehouse organization.
- Maintains a safe working environment in the warehouse
- Maintains warehouse housekeeping
- Reports any potential issues with on-time delivery
- Performs physical inventories as needed.
- Orders all supplies not related to maintenance as needed.
- Keeps control of raw material inventory levels.
- Records resin adjustments weekly
- Oversees and maintains office functions like accounts payable and scheduling.
- Keeps office running smoothly
- Reports accounting issues as needed
Supervisory Requirements
This position does have supervisory requirements. All warehouse personnel report to this position.
Education/Experience Requirements
A minimum of 4 years warehouse management experience or 4 years supervisory and 2 years management experience is required. A college degree is strongly recommended as well as experience in business management purchasing and warehouse management.

- Needs to be able to plan orders months in advance using historical data

Physical Demands
None are required
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles released by the forklift. Some raw materials in the warehouse are listed as mildly hazardous. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This is a warehouse and although the work is indoors the warehouse is not climate-controlled.
