Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Onsite role in Springfield Missouri at the corporate office. Not open to remote or hybrid work.
The Indirect Procurement Operational Manager is accountable for the supply management activities across all categories of Bass Pro indirect spend (e.g. Logistics Marketing IT Facilities etc.). Coupa and Docusign as well as several legacy tools (e.g. Timberline) are the software tools that Bass Pro uses to support the companys supply management activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees the administration of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module ensuring vendor catalogs and content are kept current and that new suppliers are enabled to transact business with Bass Pro.
Oversees the Operational Buyers who administer the various procurement systems as well as execute the spot buy requirements of the company.
Oversees the purchasing activity in the remaining legacy purchasing systems (e.g. Timberline) to ensure all the purchasing needs of the enterprise are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Oversees the maintenance of the data feeds to the Coupa spend analytics module that tracks and classifies all indirect spend.
Oversees the preparation routing and tracking of contract documents and ensures that completed contracts are uploaded into the Docusign contract administration module.
Oversees the administration of the Coupa sourcing module configuration and user access to facilitate competitive bidding for goods and services.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Degree:Bachelors Degree in business supply chain management or similar technical discipline
Experience: 3-5 of years in procurement and/or finance
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Should have a moderate understanding of how contracts are structured and negotiated to support business objectives
Should have a moderate level of technical competency (especially in Microsoft Office) and a moderate knowledge of e-procurement tools
Supervisory skills to oversee a team of system administrators / operational buyers
Ability to learn quickly and think strategically
Operates in a proactive and dynamic manner with a sense of urgency
Comfortable working with technology
Possesses strong analytical skills
Able to communicate complex concepts effectively
Must work well with others in an office setting

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies procedures and practices.
