Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Nashville TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to reports with calm clear communication. You will document observations assist visitors and staff with customer-focused service and support site procedures with integrity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies access requirements and/or identification procedures at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas and perimeter points noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances gates and/or common areas maintaining a visible presence while observing for security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Document patrols incidents and security-related observations in reports and logs and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
