Security Officer HOA Patrol

As a Security Officer - HOA Patrol in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor badging respond to alarms and/or reported concerns and provide a welcoming customer service presence for tenants guests and staff. You will bring integrity and teamwork to a caring agile reliable and innovative culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas common areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and building activity during patrols reporting suspicious behavior hazards and/or maintenance concerns through established communication channels.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports maintain logs and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
