What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel contractors and/or visitors by following assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings yards parking areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards with working environments and conditions varying by site area.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas verifying identification and/or authorization as directed and assist with directing visitors deliveries and contractor traffic according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifications to site contacts and/or public responders when required by post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs document unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
