As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Washington DC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a renowned cultural institution where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer this dynamic location you will support visitors staff and exhibits through clear communication routine patrols and a reliable people-first approach grounded in teamwork integrity and innovation.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents visitor concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries public areas staff spaces and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exhibits-adjacent areas and restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized access support orderly visitor flow and report security-related issues promptly.
• Support daily operations by observing for maintenance concerns policy violations and/or suspicious behavior then relaying information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
