We are seeking an experienced Public Affairs Analyst who will support the Aviation & Missile Center by delivering strategic communication and public outreach this role you will develop and execute communication and engagement plans that strengthen relationships with community industry and academic partners and enhance understanding of the AvMC mission. The analyst leads the planning and execution of community relations events industry engagements and strategic speaker placements ensuring all activities align with command priorities. you will also serve as a key support to government leadership providing expert guidance on public communication matters and ensuring that all communication strategies and products comply with applicable DoW and Army policies. This role requires strong analytical writing and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and deliver highquality products in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing detailed communication and outreach plans supporting AvMC and Army priorities.
- Drafting reviewing and validating highlevel communication products such as news releases talking points strategic messaging and event materials.
- Interpreting applying and operationalizing command-level guidance to ensure message consistency and alignment.
- Coordinating with AvMC directorates Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAE) and higher headquarters public affairs offices to synchronize communication efforts.
- Strengthening stakeholder relationships and building public trust through proactive engagement and clear consistent messaging.
Required
- BS or BA degree
- 14 years of direct public affairs experience
- Thorough knowledge of all applicable DoW and Army public affairs regulations
- Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
