Wilkes University invites applicants for an open Computer Science high school-level teaching enrichment position in the Upward Bound Program for the summer session. Upward Bound is a federally funded Trio Program which provides support to participants in their preparation for college and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.
The successful candidate is responsible for implementing the enrichment component of the Program to a small group of high school-level students by educating them on computer programming and guiding the students through coding their own project using Python Java and/or other coding mediums. A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field is required.
Please note that this is only a part-time temporary position with a competitive hourly wage. Dates run from June 22nd through July 31st and classes are held Mondays through Thursdays. (1:15 P.M. 2:30 P.M.).
