Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of planners in coordinating and scheduling engineering works for infrastructure assets
- Review electrical works in response to suspected potential risks related to engineering activities on the power system
- Provide quality control for job planning through daily monitoring and scheduled planning health checks
- Monitor and control the implementation of scheduled activities maintaining close liaison with frontline engineers and supervisors
- Govern Asset and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Registration in Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) in accordance with AMS requirements
- Conduct regular reviews to identify potential implications arising from forecasted or identified deferred PM tasks and propose appropriate corrective actions
- Compile key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the planning and execution of engineering works
- Coordinate engineering works budget preparation performing evaluation and analysis to drive continuous improvement in maintenance planning and budgeting
- Support system development and enhancement for the EAMS and the Engineering Works & Traffic Information Management System (ETMS)
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years relevant experience
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of Railway Safety Rules and System Outage & Switching procedures is essential
