Job Summary

Full-Time Facilities Assistant

First Baptist Rogers is a Southern Baptist Church in Northwest Arkansas. We conduct seven services every Sunday at three different campuses for over 2500 people each week. Our mission is to make disciples of all the nations and our process of discipleship is come connect grow serve and go. The full-time Buildings and Grounds Assistant will have the following qualifications and fulfill the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work hours are typically Nights and Weekends however shift time may vary based on responsibilities.
Clean dust and wipe furniture: sweep mop and/or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; clean restrooms refill restroom dispensers; replace light bulbs clean windows sills clean interior windows
Assist with setup of facilities to accommodate meetings activities and events
Perform routine maintenance on all floors including but not limited to strip clean buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors as directed
Lock and unlock building as assigned secure building per procedures report any unauthorized occupants
Attend staff meetings staff prayer meetings team celebrations and other meetings/events as directed by Supervisor.
Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: interpersonal skills attention to detail follow directions comprehension of instruction organization and basic reading writing and speaking in English

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: interpersonal skills attention to detail follow directions comprehension of instruction organization and basic reading writing and speaking in English.
Able to affirm and follow the Churchs Code of Conduct.
Willing to become an active member of FBC Rogers or other like-minded church.
