IT Intern Infrastructure

As an IT Infrastructure Intern youll be part of a large national organization working alongside incredibly talented professionals as you develop the skills youll need to succeed. Your formal and informal learning begins on day one working on real mission-critical projects that must meet high will I be doingThe IT function at BlueLinx is constantly evolving and we are looking for a dynamic IT Intern to support key business initiatives and growth. We are also looking for the intern to step in and make an impact from day one. The intern experience will be designed to provide opportunities to work directly with the IT team on various potential projects including:Branch Technology Lab testing & development (Barcode Scanning LTE Wireless)Assist in Mobile Device Management Video Surveillance optimization APIs network segmentationSupport ongoing projects within the Infrastructure teamAssist in documenting Infrastructure processesMaintain dashboard metrics for Infrastructure technology across the enterpriseProvide support for the IT functions that maybe part of emerging technologiesWhat does the internship experience look likeAs an intern with BlueLinx you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process. You must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks though 12 weeks is preferred. A GPA minimum of 3.0 is required.
