Quality Delivery Manager

Job Summary
Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Quality Delivery Manager to lead the delivery and performance of our Quality Team ensuring excellence across auditing compliance and service delivery. Reporting directly to the Quality and Programme Manager you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to ensure all planned and reactive programmes are delivered effectively driving a culture of safety compliance and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong analytical capability exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Team including QA Specialists Administrators and H&S personnel
- Oversee auditing scoping sign-offs and quality assurance processes across programmes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation health & safety standards and company policies
- Monitor performance identify risks/trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Kāinga Ora and key stakeholders
- Support training development and compliance of staff and subcontractors
- Provide reporting and insights on operational and strategic performance
- Drive a customer-centric service delivery model focused on quality outcomes
Education Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar leadership role
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering projects on time
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance compliance and operational processes
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of organisation time management and ability to prioritise
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
Desirable:
- Experience in facilities management or trade services environments
- Knowledge of government or social housing contracts
- Health & Safety or Quality certifications
- Experience working with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams
