Job Summary
A growing and innovative organization is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Modeler (BIM) with a focus on electrical systems to support commercial construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex designs collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of high-quality electrical systems using advanced modeling tools.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with BIM modeling a strong understanding of electrical design and a passion for delivering accurate and efficient project solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain BIM electrical models and drawings for commercial projects
Create and modify 3D models of electrical systems including power lighting and wiring
Collaborate with engineers project managers and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy
Perform clash detection and assist in resolving design conflicts
Update models to reflect design changes and project requirements
Support coordination of electrical systems within overall building design
Assist in improving BIM standards workflows and best practices
Provide technical support related to BIM tools and modeling processes
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on modeling progress
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
2 years of experience in BIM modeling within the commercial electrical industry
Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
Experience supporting commercial building projects is highly preferred
