Business Analyst (Data Products)

Analytica is seeking aBusiness Analyst Data & Analytics to support a federal Azure-based data and analytics program. This role focuses on translating mission operational and policy needs into clear business functional and data requirements that support cloud data platforms analytics dashboards and AI-enabled use cases in regulated Business Analyst will work closely with government stakeholders product owners data engineers analysts and project leadership to ensure requirements are well-defined traceable and aligned with program goals delivery timelines and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Elicit analyze and document business functional and data requirements for Azure-based data platforms analytics dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Partner with government stakeholders to understand mission workflows pain points and data needs translating them into user stories acceptance criteria and backlog items.

• Support Agile delivery by collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum teams during backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.

• Develop andmaintainbusiness analysis artifacts such as process maps data flows use cases requirements traceability matrices and solution documentation.

• Work closely with data engineers and analytics teams to clarify data definitionsvalidaterequirements and ensure business needs are accurately reflected in technical solutions.

• Support testing activities including functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet defined requirements.

• Assistin definingsuccessmetrics KPIs and reporting requirements to measure program outcomes and value.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders translating complex technical concepts into clear business-focused language.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science Engineering ora relatedfield (or equivalent professional experience).

• 47 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role supporting technology data or analytics projects.

• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements using Agile methodologies (user stories acceptance criteria).
