Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for Four Points by Sheraton Airport Westshore. This leader will be responsible for driving top-line revenue performance increasing market share and positioning the hotel for long-term success.
The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset strong leadership capabilities and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with revenue goals and brand positioning
- Lead mentor and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets
- Drive group corporate and transient business through proactive and reactive sales efforts
- Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability
- Strengthen the hotels presence within the local Tampa market through networking and community engagement
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives brand compliance and online reputation management
- Analyze market trends competitor performance and demand generators to identify opportunities
- Prepare and present forecasts budgets and performance reports to ownership and leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 35 years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and market share
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Marriott brand experience and systems knowledge preferred (e.g. CI/TY MGS Delphi)
- Knowledge of the Tampa market is a strong advantage
