Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Yokohama Japan (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join BSIs APAC Talent Acquisition team supporting hiring across Japan.

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to the business managing end-to-end recruitment activity and partnering with stakeholders to attract and hire high-calibre talent. You will play a key role in shaping hiring strategies delivering against workforce plans and strengthening BSIs employer brand in the local market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter with strong direct sourcing capability and stakeholder management skills to operate in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to deliver end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles including senior and business leadership positions.

• Support strategic workforce planning contributing to both short- and long-term hiring plans.

• Lead sourcing activity using a range of channels including LinkedIn job boards networking and direct headhunting.

• Build and maintain talent pipelines aligned to future hiring needs.

• Advise stakeholders on effective attraction strategies market insights and hiring approaches.

• Lead recruitment campaign kick-offs and guide hiring managers through structured and effective hiring processes.

• Screen applications manage interview processes and support assessment activities where required.

• Manage candidate and agency engagement including offer management and feedback delivery.

• Strengthen BSIs employer brand in Japan including participation in events partnerships and local initiatives.

• Provide regular reporting on hiring progress and maintain accurate data within recruitment systems.

• Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes tools and systems.

• Contribute to the management and effectiveness of recruitment suppliers and PSL partners.

What were looking for

Essential

• Experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong experience in direct sourcing and headhunting including use of LinkedIn and social platforms.

• Proven ability to build strong relationships and partner with stakeholders at multiple levels.

• Strong communication and influencing skills.

• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.

• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

• Fluent in Business English and native-level Japanese.

Highly desirable

• Experience recruiting across North Asia or multiple regions.

• Experience working within a matrixed or global organisation.

• Familiarity with Workday or similar ATS platforms.

• Experience supporting employer branding or talent attraction initiatives.
