At Platea you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on Puerto Rico. This is a foundational leadership role where you will build the revenue engine of a fast growing media company from the ground up and shape its long term growth trajectory.

The Head of Growth & Revenue will be responsible for driving Plateas growth by building and leading the companys commercial function. This role balances external revenue generation with internal operational leadership. Externally this leader will identify and close new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Internally this person will design the systems KPIs and structure needed to scale sustainable revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills a problem solving mindset and the ability to execute hands on.

What Youll Do:

  • Create and grow relationships with partner companies and clients.
  • Interact frequently with senior leadership internally and with executive management teams of partners.
  • Navigate client conversations around the value of Plateas products while crafting mutually beneficial commercial structures.
  • Develop strategic growth opportunities for new and existing partnerships and evolve the companys revenue drivers.
  • Negotiate all elements of new and existing partner deals and determine competitive market pricing.
  • Build systems and processes that enable scalable revenue growth.
  • Support management of Plateas P and L in collaboration with leadership.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Revenue and Growth Strategy: Design and execute Plateas revenue strategy across branded content partnerships and new business lines. Identify innovative revenue streams aligned with Plateas brand and audience.
    • New Business Development: Identify pursue negotiate and close new business opportunities. Own the full deal cycle from first contact to signed agreement.
    • Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with brands agencies institutions and funding partners to expand Plateas reach and influence.
    • Growth Leadership: As part of the Senior Leadership Team help shape the long term growth vision of Platea and build the commercial infrastructure required to scale.
    • Deal Closing and Commercial Structuring: Lead negotiations determine competitive pricing and structure agreements that ensure profitability and sustainability.
    • Presentations: Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners. Represent Platea with strong executive presence.
    • Industry Events: Represent Platea at industry events to network identify opportunities and strengthen brand positioning.
    • Operational Leadership: Establish KPIs oversee revenue forecasting support financial reporting and collaborate on management of Plateas P and L. Build processes and reporting structures where needed.
    • Marketing and Creative Alignment: Work cross functionally with editorial marketing and operations to develop commercial initiatives that drive growth while protecting brand integrity.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with a strong professional track record.
  • 8 plus years of experience in growth revenue business development advertising media or related fields.
  • Proven experience driving meaningful revenue growth in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically while executing hands on.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events.
