Job Summary
Payroll Clerk (Seasonal)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintains payroll information by collecting calculating and entering data
- Maintains sick pay schedules
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions insurance coverage and department/division transfers
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Process new employees for field packing and cold storage departments
- Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications
Qualifications and Skills
- Attention to detail
- Prior experience using Famoussoftware or PickTrace software is a plus
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
Pay Range (Low $17.00/hour to Max $19.00/hour)
This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above. If necessary alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
