As a Senior Project Manager you will report to the Vice President of Construction. You will also be called upon to work with various specialists and professionals to ensure compliance across different projects.
WHAT YOULL DO
Evaluate the costs of materials labor and equipment based on quotes plans and specifications;
Review and analyze received bids recommend their acceptance and negotiate contracts;
Establish and maintain bidding control and reporting systems and procedures;
Prepare cost and expense reports and forecasts throughout the duration of projects;
Maintain directories of suppliers contractors and subcontractors;
Collaborate with professionals (engineers architects contractors etc.);
Assess the impact of changes and adjustments on cost estimates;
Manage coordinate and monitor the progress of construction projects.
WHAT YOULL BRING
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in construction project management
Strong communication skills in both French and English spoken and written due to the nature of the tasks and interactions with English-speaking colleagues partners or clients across Canada
Strong leadership skills
Willingness to travel across Canada
